Nathan Morgan, along with his wife Ann arrived in Roxboro in late August 2021 to preach at the invitation of Bishop Johnny Godair, who was serving as interim pastor.
After just a few services, Bro. Morgan was appointed and confirmed as the Pastor of Roxboro First Pentecostal Church. He and his wife joyfully accepted the call, and were quickly joined by their son Garrett. Their son Patrick, his wife Kara, and their son Jack moved to Roxboro to join the others in December.
The church family has warmly accepted them and all are looking forward to a bright future.
The Morgans have been in ministry for over 30 years; assisting his father in Lunita Pentecostal Church near DeQuincy, La; serving as youth leaders, Sunday School teachers, evangelist, as well as pastorates in Louisiana and Georgia.
Pastor Morgan has recently led the remodeling of our sanctuary to increase seating capacity from 60 to 100, opened up areas of the building that were used for storage to add two Sunday school rooms, a teacher work room, a warming kitchen, and two offices. Plans are being finalized to complete our fellowship hall and kitchen area in the near future.
Pastor Morgan believes preaching and teaching the Word of God has the power to transform the lives of those who will respond in obedience.
We are all excited about what is happening as we move FORWARD TOGETHER!
