Rev. Wilmoth began his ministry as the Youth Pastor at the First Pentecostal Church in Durham, NC in 1996. He was joined in this ministry by his wife in March of 2000. He has completed his ministerial training with Texas Bible College, and is an ordained minister with the World Wide Pentecostal Fellowship.
During Rev. Wilmoth’s tenure as Youth Pastor the youth group had a regular attendance of over sixty-five youth between the ages of 12-20, and over one hundred on special occasions. While leading the Youth Group, the Wilmoths have also participated in Sunday School teaching, personal Bible Studies, Rest Home Ministry, Bus Ministry, Prison Ministry, Choir Ministry, and Youth Chorale Ministry. Mrs. Wilmoth has also been involved in the praise team, and the youth chorale leader at the church as well.
While childhood friends, the Wilmoths have been happily married for twelve years, and have two children, Reagan age 5, and Ryland age 3.
There has always been a special place in the Wilmoths’ hearts for Roxboro, and Rev. Wilmoth felt a call to this community over seven years ago, doors were opened and they started the current assembly in May of 2007, and celebrated the 5th Church anniversary in May of ’12. They are excited for what God has done thus far in Roxboro, and hope and pray with God’s help that Roxboro’s First Pentecostal Church will be a haven for souls seeking a closer walk with the Master.
